Rescue....... ( 55 fiction # 3 )

She was all grace, slender, fair, her face aglow,
But she was in pain, and tears started to flow
They just kept falling, so soft, so pure
Someone would rescue her from her suffering
Of this she was sure

So she waited for the cool breeze to blow
Till then the candle would patiently glow

  1. Superb!! Poem plus 55fiction combined! Awesome combo and a match well struck... oops pun unintended and no offense meant to the poor candle :p
Stick to both style of writing, Dada! And keep exploring newer avenues! It's a pleasure to be at the receiving end of the magic which you, Sweety and Amo create with your writings!! Love you loads.

  2. When I was sure that I can’t be ‎surprised by your writing anymore, you ‎come out with a fantastic 55 word fiction ‎ant that too in poetic form. Wow!! No ‎words can describe my feelings. So ‎beautiful. I felt the pain that the candle ‎felt. I felt the agony of the candle and ‎the wait for the pain end. But of course, ‎I did not guess right till the end that it is ‎the pain of the candle. For me, it was a ‎woman in pain, in great agony. You r 55 ‎words poetic fiction is better than ‎everything else. You do express yourself ‎beautifully in poems. Loved it totally. ‎Can’t wait for your next one. ‎ and oh, I forgot to mention about the pictures in all the three posts. Awesome. Won't let you guess the truth. The pictures are perfect and at the same time conceals the truth so well. Loved it also.

  5. I had not heard much about these fifty five word write-ups before, until I read one of yours before, and now this one. Just a few words to say everything. Beautiful work. And you have an amazing imagination. It makes your work seem so real.
