Between you and me

There have been heartaches

There has been pain

There has been sun shine

& there has been rain

Between you and me….

There have been sleepless nights

But there have been beautiful dreams

There have been soft whispers

And there have been screams

Between you and me….

There has been smooth sailing

And there have been ups and downs

Sometimes we were monsters

And moments we were clowns

Between you and me….

There have been promises

Some broken, some kept

There have been plans completed

And some plans still left

Between you and me….

There have been moments of silence

And moments we would brood

We’ve been kind & gentle

And  sometimes very rude

Between you & me….

We’ve seen stormy weather

And we’ve seen rainbows

We’ve seen a few mountains

And walked a few seashores

Between you and me….

This life of ours has been both

A little bit of  Heaven and sometimes Hell

But I believe in “ all’s well

If it ends well ”

Between you and me….

There has been fun & laughter

And there have been tears

But there has always been Love

All through these years

Between you and me…..

 

Let us walk  through life’s journey

As if it’s just child’s play

and at the end  this is all I hope and I pray

That love will always stay

What is Love ?

I some times wonder,

if any one could really define love

Many of us,  many a time,  have tried, but failed, some how

If love is happiness,

Then why does it give heart aches & pain ?

If love is selfless,

Why does it expect, something in return or  some gain ?

If love is bliss

Why does it bring such despair ?

If love is true

Then, why does it become so unfair ?

If love is pure

Why does jealousy, hatred & envy lurk so near ?

If love is trust

Then, why does one feel betrayed & so insecure ?

If love is understanding

Why does it cause confusion & conflicts ?

If love is forgiving

Then why, so much pain & hurt it sometimes inflicts ?

If love is tenderness

Then why does aggressiveness give it, a thrill ?

If love is life

Then sonetimes why does it suffocate, why does, it kill ?

If love is care

Why does it become so indifferent, so aloof ?

If love is innocent

Why is it suspicious, always searching for proof ?

If love is an emotion

Then why is it  never in our control ?

If love is divine

Why does is it burn our heart & soul ?

If love is strength

Why does it make us so weak ?

When love is found

What is it, we always tend to seek ?

If love is giving

Why does it expect, so much in return?  

If love is understanding

Why do we falter ,why don’t we learn ?

If love is togetherness

Why does it tear us apart ?

If love is joy

Why does it break your heart ?

  

If love is a game

Why are there no rules ?

If love is a lesson

Why is it not taught in schools?

If love is priceless

Why do we try to assess  it's worth ?

If love is God

What on earth, it’s doing on earth ?

If love is blind

How can it see right in to, the others, heart ?

If love is wrong

Why it seem so right, right from the start ?

If love is simple

Why does it puzzle the world ?

If love is serene

Why does it make your head swirl ?

If love is love

Why is it so hard to understand  ?

Yet love is a desire

Which is it always in demand? 

If love is free

Why does  it bind, with invisible chains ?

If love is ever lasting

Why does it die, & only memories remain ?

If love is a word

Why is it so hard to define?

If love is just madness

When in love, why does one feel so fine ?

Though it is difficult  to define

Or give  true love a name

But of one thing I’m certain

Life without love, is all in vain

I still believe in  true love

Love is a mystical experience  between two

I believed that Love was my dream

And yes, this dream of mine has finally, come true.

PURE GOLD

  

Her smile brings the sun shine

Her laughter is like a  musical clock’s chime

Her sadness like a cloudy day, without rain

Her calm is like the evenings, at sunset time

Her tears are sparkling diamonds

Her crying, like, uncontrolled rain

Her yawns sound like the whistle

Coming from a far away train 

Her hands are like two magic wands

Effortlessly getting things done, with a smile

Her legs never seem tired,always ready to help one in need

Even if it means, for her to walk that extra mile

Her voice so endearing like, the chirping

Of birds at the break at dawn

Her embrace so warm and comforting

Like a fur blanket  around you

On a cold winter morn

Her anger is like a brewing storm

Her breathing like the waves, when the sea is calm

Her eyes light up, like two bright stars  

Her face  is a dream, I can hold in my palm

Her sweetness like sugar candy

Her gentleness like a soft cool breeze

Her unconditional love so pure & warm

It could make, a frozen heart unfreeze

She gives meaning to life, whenever she's around       

That's what I've always been told

And though with time her hair may turn to silver   

Her heart will remain, pure gold                                                             

IS THIS LIFE ?

SOME TIMES I SIT AND THINK ABOUT THIS WORLD

THE  WORLD , WHICH WE LIVE IN,   

IT MAKES ME SAD, AND SOME TIMES MAD

IS ANY ONE TRULY SATISFIED, FROM WITHIN ?

              YOU PICK UP THE NEWS PAPER EACH MORNING

              AND WITH  ALL THE NEWS THAT YOU GET TO READ

              YOUR  HEART STARTS ACHING & MOANING                    

              ALL THERE IS, ARE STORIES OF LUST, MURDER AND GREED

AND I SIT ALONE  AND WONDER, AGAIN

DOES  A MAN, REALLY KNOW WHAT HE NEEDS ?

OR FROM HIS LIFE , WHAT DOES HE WANT, TO GAIN ?                  

DOES ANY ONE, ANY MORE, STOP AND THINK, OF THEIR DEEDS ?

               

               TO ME IT SEEMS,  EVERY ONE IS STARVING

               FOR STATUS, MONEY, POWER AND FAME

               THE MORE ONE HAS, THE MORE, HE’S CRAVING   

               IS THIS REALLY LIFE ? OR IS THIS A NEW GAME ?

THERE WERE TIMES ,NOT SO LONG AGO

PEOPLE  WERE  HAPPY AND SHOWED THEIR LOVE &  CARE

NOW EVERY ONE SEEMS TO BE COMPLAINING

LIFE’S A BURDEN, LIFE’S VERY UNJUST & UNFAIR

                            

               LIFE’S WHAT WE MAKE IT,BUT NO ONE, CARES

               TO GIVE THIS A THOUGHT OR TO STOP &  THINK

               EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE TOO BUSY, NOWADAYS

               THE DAYS & NIGHTS, JUST SEEM TO SHRINK

I SEE PEOPLE, ALL AROUND, AND SOME FRIENDS, I KNOW

WHO SEEM TO THINK, THAT  THEY WILL BE HAPPY ONE DAY

THEY SEEM TO BE FOOLING THEM SELVES, OF THIS, I’M  SURE

THAT THEY’LL MAKE UP FOR ALL, THEY ARE MISSING TODAY     

              

              BUT  THEN, LIFE IS A JOURNEY, WITH A ONE WAY TICKET

              AND THIS IS WHAT MOST OF US, SEEM TO FORGET

              THAT THE MOMENTS GONE BY,WILL NEVER RETURN, & I BET

              THAT AT THE END OF THE JOURNEY, THERE WILL BE ONLY REGRET

 

“ GOD ! HELP US, PLEASE  DON’T LET US ,GO ON, LIVING IN SIN”

WITH PAIN IN HEART, I SIT HERE ALONE AND I WHISPER THIS PRAYER

” GOD ! HELP US,  MAKE THIS WORLD A PLACE WORTH LIVING IN

WHERE ,A LIFE OF PEACE AND HAPPINESS , WE COULD SHARE”

My Best Friend

My life had been lonely and days had been long

But then somewhere down the road you came along

You took my hand and walked by my side

To complete my dream, that couldn’t go wrong

                  I still remember the day I first saw you

                  Like a child who was lost and a bit confused, too

                  I had some good friends, just a very few

                  But then I found, my best friend, in you,

We shared our joys, our thoughts, our fears

We shared a great friendship all through these years

We knew in our hearts, we were made for each other

So we took the Vows, to live our lives, forever, together

                   And oh what a life this has been,

                   We’ve had our share of laughter and tears

                   And  all the ups and downs, we have seen

                   But still these have been, the best 30years

We loved and enjoyed, the thrill of being parents,

Learning to cope with our kids, tantrums and screams

Sharing their joy, their sorrow,their best moments

Re-living our life with them, and sharing their dreams

             

                    I think we are ageing, quite gracefully,

                    Our kids have grown in to fine young ones

                   We are still young at heart, and that’s the best part

                   ‘Cause our kids think, we are still, going great guns

It seems that we were together from eternity,

We were made for each other, don’t you see

This was the way, it was destined to be

Because without you, there is, no ME ,

                     You stood by me, through thick & thin,

                     With you by my side, my days begin

                     I can’t think of life without you,

                     Without you, my life would be a sin

With you by my side, I feel complete and content

With you near, by my side, I’d like, life’s journey to end

I know there’s no other, who can take your place

You were,you are and will always be, My Best Friend
