SHE HAS TO GO ………..

She stepped into my life 1 year ago

And every moment of the day, we spent together

Has left a memory, some painful, some dear

Somehow I know, I will never forget her

She’ll be leaving me tonight

And I know I’ll never see her again

But she’s given me so much during her stay

Indebted to her, I shall, always remain

Some moments I will cherish, forever

And there were things, that should not have happened

But now it is too late, for having regrets

’Cause now it’s all just coming, to an end

This has been happening with me

All through the years, yes, it’s happened before

One after the other, a beauty would always

Walk in to my life, who, I would always adore

With a thousand new promises, and plans

She would make me feel she was here to stay

Life always seemed a dream, that’s come true

But then she would say goodbye & leave one day

Yes life must go on, as time goes by

So there’s no use of sitting & crying

And so now the time for her to go, has come

It’s the truth, there’s no use, denying

Though I would like to see her again

I know she’ll never return

Because as she goes on her way 

All the bridges, she will burn

So it’s best to say goodbye to her

With a warm smile and a big hug

And when she has left and gone

I’ll just put out a new Welcome rug

I know the next one will bring with her

Prosperity, peace, happiness and cheer...... 

So I’m ready to welcome 2012 as she arrives

And I wish all you guys, a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

EVERY EVENING, HE SPENT WITH HER.................

It was evening, & he sat, waiting, eagerly, for her

He knew she’d be there soon, any moment

And until she arrived, just thinking about her

Always left him quite happy and content

He didn’t have to wait for too long  

Suddenly he knew, she was there

No, he didn’t hear any footsteps

But, it was her fragrance in the air

When she was before him, just one look at her

And his eyes turned a bit dreamy

Her presence was so enchanting

Her colour so light & creamy

He knew the moment she’d touch his lips

She would lift all his drooping spirits high

She always had this effect on him

He never, understood the reason, why

Lost in her fragrance he lifted her,

And when she touched his lips

He felt the thrill she always gave him

He could feel it, right down to his finger tips
  

Yes this was the only way, he would always

Want his evenings to be spent

After a long weary day, to him, that’s how much

A cup of hot, creamy coffee, meant

SHE DANCED ALL NIGHT………

She stepped out, on the dance floor

Dressed  in silver and white

She  moved along so gracefully

One knew she’d dance all night

All the others on the dance floor

Just stood in awe, as she took centre stage

She was a beauty, yes, a timeless beauty

No one could guess her age

Well today was, again, her night

And she had  planned to make it last

She never seemed tired from waltzing
She had done this, all night, in the past

 

She could have been Cinderella,

Come to the Ball, to dance all by her self

But she had no preconditions, as such

To leave before the clock struck twelve

As the night went by,

She looked more lively and splendid

And every single one that gazed at her     

Went into a trance, that never ended

But as the night ended and dawn was breaking

She knew it was time to end the trance

So she graciously bowed and left the dance floor

To give the other, brighter one,  his chance






 

End of a long journey…….

From far away, he could see her

She was standing there firm & tall

And his sinking heart,  beat faster

Raising his hopes and all

There was nobody visible

Nor anything else insight

It was a lonely path that he had taken

And he’d walked all day and all night

She stood there all alone

Her arms spread wide open

Inviting him, for a warm embrace

Even though a word was not spoken

In the wind he could see her hair

Was blowing, so wild

In the sun light, he saw

Her skin glowing, like a child

Though she didn’t utter a word

He could hear her softly calling him

It had been a long, lonesome journey

And the sun rays, had scorched his skin

Thirsty, hungry and exhausted, he trudged along

As he reached close, he lay down near her feet,

He found comfort in her presence above him

The shade from her boughs, covered him like a sheet

He was found there, the next morning

Beneath the tall, sycamore tree

He seemed at peace, after a long journey

And the smile on his face, said he was, free

A STAR FROM HEAVEN

Almost six years after, our son was born

Life seemed complete, but God had another plan

And though it was not what we could foresee

We have always known, God is greater than man

And on the eve of 22 September 1991

When it was just a little after eight

The sky was filled with stars, and one fell

Yes, a star fell from heaven’s open gate

It seemed like a miracle

A star so small but yet so bright

She brightened our whole world

She brightened the beautiful night

The first time I looked at her in my arms

She opened her eyes and searched my face

Her little fingers wrapped around my thumb

I saw her smile, as my heart began to race

She was so tiny so beautiful,

She filled my heart with boundless joy

For now God had given us

A little doll , our own  new toy

As time passed by, her crying & her cooing,

Filled each day and filled each night

And the sounds of her  baby talk & laughter

Made the whole world around us seem al-right

I remember when she cried at night time

All she wanted was for me to sing her a, lullaby

I would pick her up, and sing her favourite one

“ A fallen star that’s what you are… ”as the night went by

Yes, we realised that our family was complete

With two kids, a boy and a girl

And we were proud parents of two special gems

One was a diamond and the other a pearl

She has stolen every one’s hearts

With her beauty and charm

With her lovely big eyes, and sweet smile

Even a mean heart, she could disarm

And now 20 years have gone by

And she’s bloomed in to a beautiful young lady

She still fills my heart with pride and joy

For me she’ll always remain my sweet li'l baby

Within her she has special gifts, special talents

In her heart she has a source of dreams

And in her mind she has the strength to fulfil

Each one, no matter how hard it seems 

Within her she has an ideal, her own belief

She could be an inspiration to today’s youth

She’s a promise to achievement, that will be kept

She has the conviction, the strength, the truth

In her eyes you can see the strength

To meet the world , on her own terms

She will fulfil all our hopes& dreams

This, her spirit & confidence, confirms

Within her we see,  a promise of the future

She is something, so precious and rare
We believe in her, we know she’s special

She’s a star from heaven, put in our care

MADE FOR EACH OTHER

Just seeing her hand in his hand

One knows they were made for each other

Their love for each other, you can understand

It’s like magic, I pray it lasts forever

Time has always been a healer, through the years

 So Time has done it, once again

It’s wiped away all the tears

And taken away, all the pain

In life we all search for true happiness

And a few lucky ones, amongst us, find it

When true love is found, it's total bliss

It’s a delivery from heaven, & God has signed it

You can see when she looks at him

He means the whole world to her

And when he smiles and looks at her

You know his eyes will look no further

Love happened, from the day they met

And it’s the beginning of a new love story

You can see the love they have for each other

When they’re together, you can see love’s glory

She’s so spontaneous, so pure, so true

She’s like a child, full of joy, always bubbling with life

He knows that soon, all his dreams will come true

In her, he has found his best friend, soon she’ll be his wife

PURE GOLD

  

Her smile brings the sun shine

Her laughter is like a  musical clock’s chime

Her sadness like a cloudy day, without rain

Her calm is like the evenings, at sunset time

Her tears are sparkling diamonds

Her crying, like, uncontrolled rain

Her yawns sound like the whistle

Coming from a far away train 

Her hands are like two magic wands

Effortlessly getting things done, with a smile

Her legs never seem tired,always ready to help one in need

Even if it means, for her to walk that extra mile

Her voice so endearing like, the chirping

Of birds at the break at dawn

Her embrace so warm and comforting

Like a fur blanket  around you

On a cold winter morn

Her anger is like a brewing storm

Her breathing like the waves, when the sea is calm

Her eyes light up, like two bright stars  

Her face  is a dream, I can hold in my palm

Her sweetness like sugar candy

Her gentleness like a soft cool breeze

Her unconditional love so pure & warm

It could make, a frozen heart unfreeze

She gives meaning to life, whenever she's around       

That's what I've always been told

And though with time her hair may turn to silver   

Her heart will remain, pure gold                                                             

Yes, I love her

She’s always been there for me

As long as I can remember

And I’ve always loved her

All through the years, from Jan to December

She opens one eye every morning and looks at me

And I know my day is going to be bright

And at the end of each day, I see her so calm, so peaceful

I close my eyes to dream, knowing every thing is going to be all-right

I’ve seen all her true colours, her moods and faces,

some  times dark and miserable, sometimes lonely and blue

and I’d be lying if I say it didn’t affect me, because it does

but I’m lost, and I  know, there is nothing I could do

I’ve seen her crying her heart out, as if a dam has broken

She weeps and cries, not holding back a single tear

When it's all over, she feels so light hearted and so calm

I know she’s going to smile again, and soon a rainbow will appear

I know she'll  always be there for me

Looking down at me from above

It’s some thing I can feel, but can not explain

But then I think I understand, that it’s only love

And if I said I didn’t think about her or love her

Then that surely would be  my biggest lie

I don’t know the reason, but yes, I really love her

No matter what’s the season, I love the beautiful, sky

A LOVE TRIANGLE

She always hid there in the shadows

Staring at these two in front of her

They looked so happy and content together

As if they were made for each other

She could see the love they shared between them

As he stood there with, radiance on his face

She saw the other’s face light up, as she looked up at him

 As she waited for his kiss & warm embrace

Even from her distance she could feel

The warmth, the love, they shared between them

and as always ,her heart sunk, her face grew pale

'cause this was not the first time she had, seen them

  
But she knew that as always, if she was patient

They were sure to part, at the end of the day

And  then she could  just step out, from the shadows

And put all her charms & beauty on display

She was beautiful, of this there was never a doubt

At night she was, so mystical, and a thing of desire

The other envied her, feeling cold and all alone

 Here before her was a real beauty, which she couldn’t help, but admire

Thousands of eyes watched them, in silence

So awestruck , they all just forgot to, blink

As if they were mesmerized by these two beauties

And were lost for words, or what to think

One looked so young and full of passion

But there was something cold, & mysterious in her stare

The other was more calm, peaceful & generous

Except her lover, every thing, she was always ready to share

All through the night, together

This wistful game they always, seemed to play

To try and make each other jealous

And try to make the other’s hopes sway

But one on them always knew in her heart

That her beauty and charm, won’t last till dawn

And when the one she loved, returned the next day

It’s would be time for her to hide her face and be gone

Although the one she loved & adored, would sometimes glance her way

Without even noticing her presence or feeling her pain

For all the warmth and love that was in his heart

Was only for the one he loved, and that’s how it would, always remain

And I’ve seen this happening, each day, all through these years

But nothing has changed the fascination, the trill, the fun

Of this simply amazing love story, this love triangle

Between these three lovers, the earth, moon and the sun
 

The earth only lives and survives with all the love & warmth

She needs and  she always gets from her beloved sun

The moon she always hides and watches, these two lovers together

And in her heart, she knows she’ll always be ,the other jealous one    

 

IS THIS LIFE ?

SOME TIMES I SIT AND THINK ABOUT THIS WORLD

THE  WORLD , WHICH WE LIVE IN,   

IT MAKES ME SAD, AND SOME TIMES MAD

IS ANY ONE TRULY SATISFIED, FROM WITHIN ?

              YOU PICK UP THE NEWS PAPER EACH MORNING

              AND WITH  ALL THE NEWS THAT YOU GET TO READ

              YOUR  HEART STARTS ACHING & MOANING                    

              ALL THERE IS, ARE STORIES OF LUST, MURDER AND GREED

AND I SIT ALONE  AND WONDER, AGAIN

DOES  A MAN, REALLY KNOW WHAT HE NEEDS ?

OR FROM HIS LIFE , WHAT DOES HE WANT, TO GAIN ?                  

DOES ANY ONE, ANY MORE, STOP AND THINK, OF THEIR DEEDS ?

               

               TO ME IT SEEMS,  EVERY ONE IS STARVING

               FOR STATUS, MONEY, POWER AND FAME

               THE MORE ONE HAS, THE MORE, HE’S CRAVING   

               IS THIS REALLY LIFE ? OR IS THIS A NEW GAME ?

THERE WERE TIMES ,NOT SO LONG AGO

PEOPLE  WERE  HAPPY AND SHOWED THEIR LOVE &  CARE

NOW EVERY ONE SEEMS TO BE COMPLAINING

LIFE’S A BURDEN, LIFE’S VERY UNJUST & UNFAIR

                            

               LIFE’S WHAT WE MAKE IT,BUT NO ONE, CARES

               TO GIVE THIS A THOUGHT OR TO STOP &  THINK

               EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE TOO BUSY, NOWADAYS

               THE DAYS & NIGHTS, JUST SEEM TO SHRINK

I SEE PEOPLE, ALL AROUND, AND SOME FRIENDS, I KNOW

WHO SEEM TO THINK, THAT  THEY WILL BE HAPPY ONE DAY

THEY SEEM TO BE FOOLING THEM SELVES, OF THIS, I’M  SURE

THAT THEY’LL MAKE UP FOR ALL, THEY ARE MISSING TODAY     

              

              BUT  THEN, LIFE IS A JOURNEY, WITH A ONE WAY TICKET

              AND THIS IS WHAT MOST OF US, SEEM TO FORGET

              THAT THE MOMENTS GONE BY,WILL NEVER RETURN, & I BET

              THAT AT THE END OF THE JOURNEY, THERE WILL BE ONLY REGRET

 

“ GOD ! HELP US, PLEASE  DON’T LET US ,GO ON, LIVING IN SIN”

WITH PAIN IN HEART, I SIT HERE ALONE AND I WHISPER THIS PRAYER

I ALWAYS LIKE To TAKE A WALK , DOWN  OLD MEMORY LANE

WHERE, ONCE MORE I FIND LIFE’S  JOYS, TEARS AND PAIN  

I STILL REMEMBER THE JOY I FELT THE DAY MY SON WAS BORN

IT WAS THE BEGINNING OF A NEW LIFE, A BEAUTIFUL  DAWN

       THEN CAME THE TIME I' D TEACH HIM TO TALK,HIS BABY TALK

       AND   HOLD   HIS  HAND AND HELP HIM TO WALK

        IT WAS FUN TO SEE HOW FAST ,THE LITTLE ONE  GROWS

       WITH ALL HIS TOYS...CARS, TRAINS, GUNS, BOW & ARROWS

I RE-LIVED MY LIFE WITH  HIM, THROUGH HIS GROWING YEARS

I LAUGHED WHEN HE LAUGHED AND SHARED HIS TEARS

YES, THERE WERE TIMES WE CAUSED EACH OTHER PAIN

WE LEARN FROM THE HURTS ,  AND THIS WAS, OUR GAIN

          BUT THE GREATEST JOY FOR A FATHER , IS TO SEE , BY IS SIDE

           HIS LIL’ BOY GROWN IN TO, A FINE HANDSOME YOUNG MAN

           IT’S A WONDERFUL WARM FEELING OF LOVE   AND   PRIDE

          A FEELING YOU WANT TO LAST, AS LONG AS IT CAN           

NOW I KNOW THERE COMES A TIME, TO STOP BEING JUST A FATHER

AND TO BE MORE LIKE A SPECIAL FRIEND

I KNOW THAT, HE LOVES ME & FEELS PROUD OF ME, TOO

My Best Friend

My life had been lonely and days had been long

But then somewhere down the road you came along

You took my hand and walked by my side

To complete my dream, that couldn’t go wrong

                  I still remember the day I first saw you

                  Like a child who was lost and a bit confused, too

                  I had some good friends, just a very few

                  But then I found, my best friend, in you,

We shared our joys, our thoughts, our fears

We shared a great friendship all through these years

We knew in our hearts, we were made for each other

So we took the Vows, to live our lives, forever, together

                   And oh what a life this has been,

                   We’ve had our share of laughter and tears

                   And  all the ups and downs, we have seen

                   But still these have been, the best 30years

We loved and enjoyed, the thrill of being parents,

Learning to cope with our kids, tantrums and screams

Sharing their joy, their sorrow,their best moments

Re-living our life with them, and sharing their dreams

             

                    I think we are ageing, quite gracefully,

                    Our kids have grown in to fine young ones

                   We are still young at heart, and that’s the best part

                   ‘Cause our kids think, we are still, going great guns

It seems that we were together from eternity,

We were made for each other, don’t you see

This was the way, it was destined to be

Because without you, there is, no ME ,

                     You stood by me, through thick & thin,

                     With you by my side, my days begin

                     I can’t think of life without you,

                     Without you, my life would be a sin

With you by my side, I feel complete and content

With you near, by my side, I’d like, life’s journey to end

I know there’s no other, who can take your place

You were,you are and will always be, My Best Friend

ONE SUMMER NIGHT

 

One summer night he  sat out there, alone

The winds sighing and leaving  a soft moan

He sat there  in silence , a storm brewing in his mind

He searched for some comfort ,which he couldn’t find

The stars winked at him ,

The moon looked down & smiled

They all seemed to  be asking him

“ What’s the matter with you ,child?”

He tried to share his thoughts with the night

But nothing helped , tried what he might

He hoped something, someone ,would ease the pain

& this burning inside him, he wished it would rain

But soon he realised,  the key to

happiness ,he held within

and if he was strong ,a new life

a new journey, could begin

So he  planned a new future and left behind the past

He prayed that this summer night, forever may last

But soon the moon’s face grew pale and grey

One by one the stars said goodbye & faded away

Time, took his hand and whispered, "Just talk with me

I promise every thing will be  alright, just walk with me"

Suddenly he knew that tomorrow will bring, laughter & fun

Dawn was  breaking, soon he would be kissed, by the sun

THE TRAVELER…...

HE LEFT THE CITY AND MOVED- ON TO ANOTHER PLACE

HE TRIED HARD TO KEEP UP  WITH LIFE’S DEMANDING PACE

HE WAS SO SURE THAT HE HAD MADE A NEW START

THIS WANDERLUST OF HIS, WOULD MEND A BROKEN HEART

HE RAN TILL HE WAS BREATHLESS ,HIS LUNGS BURSTING WITH PAIN

BUT WHAT HE COULDN’T SEE,  WAS LOVE’S INVISIBLE CHAIN 

THAT KEPT  HIM A PRISONER WITH MEMORIES OF HIS PAST

WHILE HE KEPT FOOLING HIMSELF THAT MEMORIES WON’T LAST

HE  TRAVELED  TO MOUNTAINS AND TO THE SEA SHORE

IN SEARCH OF A PLACE, WHERE HE’D MISS HER NO MORE

HE SEARCHED FOR PEACE AND BEAUTY, IN EVERY THING

BUT INSIDE HIS HEART HE KNEW, SOMETHING WAS MISSING

HE TRIED NEW VENTURES, AND  TRIED NEW SKILLS

TO FORGET THE HURT, AND PAIN THAT KILLS

BUT   NOTHING IN THIS WORLD WOULD EVER REPLACE

ALL THOSE DREAMS AND HER SMILING FACE

BUT TIME IS A HEALER, SO ONLY TIME WILL HEAL

NO MATTER WHAT’S SHATTERED, OR WHAT YOU FEEL

SO AS TIME GOES BY, MEMORIES WILL FADE AWAY

AND IT’S SURE TO HAPPEN,VERY SOON, SOME DAY

ALL  HE NEEDS TO DO IS FIND SOMEONE ELSE

TO FILL THE VOID THAT WAS LEFT IN HIS HEART

THIS AND ONLY THIS WILL GIVE

HIS LIFE A NEW MEANING,A NEW START
