SHE HAS TO GO ………..

She stepped into my life 1 year ago

And every moment of the day, we spent together

Has left a memory, some painful, some dear

Somehow I know, I will never forget her

She’ll be leaving me tonight

And I know I’ll never see her again

But she’s given me so much during her stay

Indebted to her, I shall, always remain

Some moments I will cherish, forever

And there were things, that should not have happened

But now it is too late, for having regrets

’Cause now it’s all just coming, to an end

This has been happening with me

All through the years, yes, it’s happened before

One after the other, a beauty would always

Walk in to my life, who, I would always adore

With a thousand new promises, and plans

She would make me feel she was here to stay

Life always seemed a dream, that’s come true

But then she would say goodbye & leave one day

Yes life must go on, as time goes by

So there’s no use of sitting & crying

And so now the time for her to go, has come

It’s the truth, there’s no use, denying

Though I would like to see her again

I know she’ll never return

Because as she goes on her way 

All the bridges, she will burn

So it’s best to say goodbye to her

With a warm smile and a big hug

And when she has left and gone

I’ll just put out a new Welcome rug

I know the next one will bring with her

Prosperity, peace, happiness and cheer...... 

So I’m ready to welcome 2012 as she arrives

And I wish all you guys, a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

EVERY EVENING, HE SPENT WITH HER.................

It was evening, & he sat, waiting, eagerly, for her

He knew she’d be there soon, any moment

And until she arrived, just thinking about her

Always left him quite happy and content

He didn’t have to wait for too long  

Suddenly he knew, she was there

No, he didn’t hear any footsteps

But, it was her fragrance in the air

When she was before him, just one look at her

And his eyes turned a bit dreamy

Her presence was so enchanting

Her colour so light & creamy

He knew the moment she’d touch his lips

She would lift all his drooping spirits high

She always had this effect on him

He never, understood the reason, why

Lost in her fragrance he lifted her,

And when she touched his lips

He felt the thrill she always gave him

He could feel it, right down to his finger tips
  

Yes this was the only way, he would always

Want his evenings to be spent

After a long weary day, to him, that’s how much

A cup of hot, creamy coffee, meant

SHE DANCED ALL NIGHT………

She stepped out, on the dance floor

Dressed  in silver and white

She  moved along so gracefully

One knew she’d dance all night

All the others on the dance floor

Just stood in awe, as she took centre stage

She was a beauty, yes, a timeless beauty

No one could guess her age

Well today was, again, her night

And she had  planned to make it last

She never seemed tired from waltzing
She had done this, all night, in the past

 

She could have been Cinderella,

Come to the Ball, to dance all by her self

But she had no preconditions, as such

To leave before the clock struck twelve

As the night went by,

She looked more lively and splendid

And every single one that gazed at her     

Went into a trance, that never ended

But as the night ended and dawn was breaking

She knew it was time to end the trance

So she graciously bowed and left the dance floor

To give the other, brighter one,  his chance






 

End of a long journey…….

From far away, he could see her

She was standing there firm & tall

And his sinking heart,  beat faster

Raising his hopes and all

There was nobody visible

Nor anything else insight

It was a lonely path that he had taken

And he’d walked all day and all night

She stood there all alone

Her arms spread wide open

Inviting him, for a warm embrace

Even though a word was not spoken

In the wind he could see her hair

Was blowing, so wild

In the sun light, he saw

Her skin glowing, like a child

Though she didn’t utter a word

He could hear her softly calling him

It had been a long, lonesome journey

And the sun rays, had scorched his skin

Thirsty, hungry and exhausted, he trudged along

As he reached close, he lay down near her feet,

He found comfort in her presence above him

The shade from her boughs, covered him like a sheet

He was found there, the next morning

Beneath the tall, sycamore tree

He seemed at peace, after a long journey

And the smile on his face, said he was, free

A STAR FROM HEAVEN

Almost six years after, our son was born

Life seemed complete, but God had another plan

And though it was not what we could foresee

We have always known, God is greater than man

And on the eve of 22 September 1991

When it was just a little after eight

The sky was filled with stars, and one fell

Yes, a star fell from heaven’s open gate

It seemed like a miracle

A star so small but yet so bright

She brightened our whole world

She brightened the beautiful night

The first time I looked at her in my arms

She opened her eyes and searched my face

Her little fingers wrapped around my thumb

I saw her smile, as my heart began to race

She was so tiny so beautiful,

She filled my heart with boundless joy

For now God had given us

A little doll , our own  new toy

As time passed by, her crying & her cooing,

Filled each day and filled each night

And the sounds of her  baby talk & laughter

Made the whole world around us seem al-right

I remember when she cried at night time

All she wanted was for me to sing her a, lullaby

I would pick her up, and sing her favourite one

“ A fallen star that’s what you are… ”as the night went by

Yes, we realised that our family was complete

With two kids, a boy and a girl

And we were proud parents of two special gems

One was a diamond and the other a pearl

She has stolen every one’s hearts

With her beauty and charm

With her lovely big eyes, and sweet smile

Even a mean heart, she could disarm

And now 20 years have gone by

And she’s bloomed in to a beautiful young lady

She still fills my heart with pride and joy

For me she’ll always remain my sweet li'l baby

Within her she has special gifts, special talents

In her heart she has a source of dreams

And in her mind she has the strength to fulfil

Each one, no matter how hard it seems 

Within her she has an ideal, her own belief

She could be an inspiration to today’s youth

She’s a promise to achievement, that will be kept

She has the conviction, the strength, the truth

In her eyes you can see the strength

To meet the world , on her own terms

She will fulfil all our hopes& dreams

This, her spirit & confidence, confirms

Within her we see,  a promise of the future

She is something, so precious and rare
We believe in her, we know she’s special

She’s a star from heaven, put in our care

MADE FOR EACH OTHER

Just seeing her hand in his hand

One knows they were made for each other

Their love for each other, you can understand

It’s like magic, I pray it lasts forever

Time has always been a healer, through the years

 So Time has done it, once again

It’s wiped away all the tears

And taken away, all the pain

In life we all search for true happiness

And a few lucky ones, amongst us, find it

When true love is found, it's total bliss

It’s a delivery from heaven, & God has signed it

You can see when she looks at him

He means the whole world to her

And when he smiles and looks at her

You know his eyes will look no further

Love happened, from the day they met

And it’s the beginning of a new love story

You can see the love they have for each other

When they’re together, you can see love’s glory

She’s so spontaneous, so pure, so true

She’s like a child, full of joy, always bubbling with life

He knows that soon, all his dreams will come true

In her, he has found his best friend, soon she’ll be his wife

PURE GOLD

  

Her smile brings the sun shine

Her laughter is like a  musical clock’s chime

Her sadness like a cloudy day, without rain

Her calm is like the evenings, at sunset time

Her tears are sparkling diamonds

Her crying, like, uncontrolled rain

Her yawns sound like the whistle

Coming from a far away train 

Her hands are like two magic wands

Effortlessly getting things done, with a smile

Her legs never seem tired,always ready to help one in need

Even if it means, for her to walk that extra mile

Her voice so endearing like, the chirping

Of birds at the break at dawn

Her embrace so warm and comforting

Like a fur blanket  around you

On a cold winter morn

Her anger is like a brewing storm

Her breathing like the waves, when the sea is calm

Her eyes light up, like two bright stars  

Her face  is a dream, I can hold in my palm

Her sweetness like sugar candy

Her gentleness like a soft cool breeze

Her unconditional love so pure & warm

It could make, a frozen heart unfreeze

She gives meaning to life, whenever she's around       

That's what I've always been told

And though with time her hair may turn to silver   

Her heart will remain, pure gold
