UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

It was love at first sight for him

He knew this, the moment he saw her

Her beauty was so mesmerizing

He couldn’t, help but love & adore her

He loved her & he lived, only for her

A desire so strong, it kept burning within him

And although she never seemed to realise it

There was this strange chemistry between them

There were others who loved him

Who needed his love & warmth to feel secure

But this one sided love of his, was his destiny

He only existed for her, of this he was so sure

She must have noticed him at times

Or at least sensed that he has, always been around

Ready to dry her tears and put an end to her fears

Silently taking care of her without uttering a sound

But it didn’t matter to him that

She showed neither love for him, nor gratitude

He will always love her for what she really is

No matter what she did, he never felt she was rude

So he was content, just watching her

Keeping his distance, keeping his control

He knew just one step closer to her

Would completely destroy her, body and soul

This is what unconditional love is all about

Just giving & expecting nothing in return

Seeing that the one you love, blossoms & grows

Even if you are in agony, always having to burn

Since the day they came in to existence

It has always been a one sided affair

We know that the earth cannot survive

Without the sun’s warmth, love and care

A CANDID AFFAIR ………….

 

She creeps into my mind so silently

With out me realising , she’s in there

And then she starts playing on my mind

It’s the beginning of a new candid affair

I try to keep her out of my thoughts

But she has already taken possession

And I’m helpless, when  she’s in control

She’s my weakness, my obsession

I know she won’t leave me alone now
She wants to play, all those mind games

And all I can do is play along with her

By giving her a word or some new names

When she’s on my mind, I love her

I’m lost, and there’s nothing I can do

I’m restless, but I love thinking about her

 And my feelings for her are always true

At times she stays on my mind

All through the day, and through the night

And that's when, I find my self wondering

Whether this time, I will treat her right 

Some simple expressive words, some lines

A name, is all she seems to want from me

And I know that I'd love to do this for her ,

And, maybe then,  she would, set me free

She came to my mind as a thought, an idea,  

That needed,  to be expressed, with love & care

There were so many who came before her

And now they  are all out, There

I think now she’s all ready to go

She'll leave me, feeling, satisfied and free

And as soon as I click on “Publish Post”

She will be out there, for the whole world to see
